Visual Resources
The illustrations and videos provided on these pages were created to improve the communication of postoperative care instructions given the lingual and cultural divides between our English-speaking providers and Spanish- and Mayan-speaking patients. We spent considerable time and effort in creating these resources and would like to share them with other groups that might find them helpful. These resources may be useful for other surgical missions in Guatemala, Latin America, or in the United States. If you want to larger versions of the resources below, or would like to request alterations so these resources fit your patient population, please contact us at [email protected]
